நாளை திரு.ராமசாமி வீட்டுக்குப் போகிறேன். அவர் டையரியில் என் வலைப்பதிவை பற்றிய கருத்துக்களை எழுதியுள்ளாராம்.

நான் வலைப்பதிவு ஆரம்பித்து சுமார் பத்து மாதம் ஆகிறது. 'பெண்'களூர் பற்றி எழுதியவுடன் நிறைய பெண்கள் என் பக்கத்திற்கு வந்து பாராட்டிவிட்டு போனார்கள். அப்படி வந்தவர்களில் லதாவும் ஒருவர். பெங்களூர் வாசி. அவர் அப்பா பெயர் ராமசாமி. சொந்த ஊர் திருச்சி.
என் வலைப்பதிவை படித்துவிட்டு அவர் எனக்கு அனுப்பிய ஈ-மெயில்...

Namaskaram. My Name is Ramaswamy. I understand from my daughter Latha that you write articles in the Internet. I got the chance of reading your articles. God has gifted you with a very good writing skill. And I am also very happy to note that you have got this good opportunity to express your writing skills. I have read some of your articles, ones that come to my mind immediately is what you have written about your father, about Sujatha, your family and about SriRangam. I am from Trichy and reading your articles brought back nostalgic memories. Thank You! I do not know how to give my comments or compliments in the article. So I have written down my comments about your articles in a book. I take this opportunity to invite you to our home. Please visit us alongwith your family when you are free. There is one thing that I want to mention here. In your article about SriRangam, have you mentioned anywhere about Thulakanachiyar. I did not see any reference to it. I do not know if I have missed reading it. I am not very adept in using the computer. In this day of community fights and religion massacres, it is an important fact that even today in SriRangam, among all Aaazhvaars, Thulakanaachiyar, after Abishekam is first adorned with a Lungi and Vazhipaadu is also done in muslim style. I do not have all the facts with me. Maybe I am wrong too. But it will be highly appreciated if you can send me the right details about this, if you have not done this already. Children today do not evince much interest in our tradition and heritage and culture. When you find time, also write about Kumbakonam Oppiliyappan Temple. That temple town is also a treasure to research on.

Please accept my respects and admiration for having attained a recognition from someone as great as Sujatha (Mr.Rangarajan). I am an ardent fan of Mr.Rangarajan and have been one of his millions of fans from the day he started writing. It is a pleasure to know someone like you, though not belonging to Mr.Rangarajan’s family, has access to his books. They say it takes one talent to recognize another. Whenever you speak to Mr.Rangarajan next, kindly tell him that I am a long time reader of his books and admire him a lot. Also convey my humble regards. Thank you.

My sincere wishes to Mrs.Sujatha Desikan and your daughter Aandal. I suppose my daughter Latha must have told you that I wanted to name her Aandal. Owing to a lot of pressure from relatives and friends I had to name my daughter anything but Aandal. I do not know if I still regret it, but that time I thought it was not right to break so many hearts, importantly my wife’s, just to make myself happy. But I am very happy that your small child is called so. My blessings and wishes are with her.

நல்ல கதை. ஆனால், எனக்கு சட்டென்று ஞாபகத்துக்கு வந்த வரிகள்:

>>அடுத்த ஞாயிற்றுக்கிழமை என் அப்பா திடீரென்று இறந்து போனார் என்று செய்தி கேட்டு திருச்சிக்குச் சென்றேன். கடைசிவரை அவர் அந்தக் கதையின் முடிவைத் தெரிந்து கொள்ளவே இல்லை.

Quite different approach.
For first time i'm surprised with the heading. I thought u were going to discuss about Blog, email, Phone, SMS. But after reading your article on GPS it doesn't make sense to me. I read the whole article forgetting all about the heading. Only after reading the heading I got the catch in the article. Very interesting.

Though I had known about this incident from you earlier, I was very much moved (again!) reading the letter written by Mr.Ramaswamy.

The earlier 'pathivu' on AndAl too was excellent. I fondly hope that your daughter becomes a better artist (drawing) than YOU ;-)

இது கதை கிடையாது. இது எனக்கு நிகழ்ந்த வருத்தமான ஒர் அனுபவம். கவினித்தால் எந்த தொழில் நூட்பம் வந்தாலும்(Blog, Email, Phone, SMS) மனித உறவுகள் மாறாது இருப்பது தான்.
