பிரபு விரித்த பிஸ்கட் வலை
நண்பர் பிரபு பெங்களூர் வாசி. போன மாதம் சென்னை மியூசிக் அகாடமியில் ஒரு விழாவில் அவரை சந்தித்தேன். கொஞ்சம் நேரம் பேசிக்கொண்டிருந்தோம். நான் சில கடி ஜோக்ஸ் சொல்லிக்கொண்டிருந்தேன். "இதோ வரேன்" என்று வெளியில் போனவர், இரண்டு பிஸ்கட் (Milk Bikis) பாக்கெட்டுடன் வந்தார். எனக்கு இரண்டு பிஸ்கட் கொடுத்தார்.
சில வாரங்களுக்கு முன் பெங்களூர் நாய்கள் பற்றி நான் எழுதியது நினைவிருக்கலாம். அதற்கு பிரபு தன் வலைப்பதிவில் பெங்களூர் நாய்கள் கடிக்காமலிருக்க தானும் பிஸ்கட் (Milk Bikis) போடுவதாக எழுதியிருந்தார். எனக்கு அன்று ஏன் பிஸ்கட் கொடுத்தார் என்று அப்போது புரியவில்லை.
பிரபுவிடம் ஒரு செல் போன் இருக்கிறது (நோக்கியா 6230). அதில் பாட்டு கேட்கிறார், ஈமெயில் பார்க்கிறார். கூகிளில் ஏதாவது தேடுகிறார். பக்கத்தில் இருப்பவரை படம் பிடிக்கிறார். வீடியோ எடுக்கிறார் ( ஜாக்கிரதையாக இருக்கணும்! ). கீதாஞ்சலி சீரியல் பார்க்கிறார். எப்பொழுதாவது போன் பேசுகிறார். சாம்சங்கில் ஒரு மாடல்(SCH-S310) வந்திருக்கிறது. 'செல் போனை ஆட்டினாலே எல்லா வேலையும் செய்கிறது அதை வாங்கணும்' என்றார். இவர் செல் போனில் வரும் ரிங் டோன் "டாய், கைய வெச்சிக்கிட்டு சும்மாயிருடா.." என்ற பாடல். எனக்கு என்னவோ செல் போன் நிஜமாகவே பாடுகிறதோ என்று சந்தேகம்.
காதுல பூ
ஜனவரி 29 ஆம் தேதி மனைவி, குழந்தையை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு லால்பாக் புஷ்பக் கண்காட்சிக்கு சென்றிருந்தேன். பூக்களையே காணோம். விசாரித்ததில் ஜனவரி 26 வரை தான் கண்காட்சி என்று கூறினார்கள். லால்பாக்கில் உள்ள ஓர் உயரமான பாறையை பலர் பார்த்திருப்பீர்கள். பாறை மேட்டின் மீது ஒரே கல்லாலேயே கட்டப்பட்ட மண்டபம் ஒன்று இருக்கிறது. இந்த மண்டபம் கெம்பகெளடா என்ற வீரனால் கட்டப்பட்டது. இதைப்போலவே அவர் நான்கு திக்குகளிலும் நான்கு மண்டபங்கள் கட்டியிருக்கிறார். கெம்பகெளாடா 1537 ஆம் ஆண்டில் பெங்களூரை கண்டுபிடித்தபோது, நகரத்தின் நாற்புற எல்லைகள் என்று வரையறுத்து, இந்த நான்கு மண்டபங்களையும் கட்டி வைத்தார். மற்ற முன்று மண்டபங்கள் எங்குள்ளது ? யாருக்காவது தெரியுமா ?
கொஞ்சம் (ஃப்ளை) ஓவர்
ரிச்மண்ட் சர்க்கிள் ஃப்ளை ஓவரில் ஒரு ஆச்சரியத்தை கவனித்திருப்பீர்கள்! ஃப்ளை ஓவரில் ஏறியவுடன் அங்கு ஒரு டிராஃபிக் கான்ஸ்டபிள் இருப்பார்! எவ்வளவோ ஃப்ளை ஓவர்களை பார்த்திருக்கிறேன். டிராபிக் கான்ஸ்டபிள் உள்ள ஒரே ஃப்ளை ஓவர் இது தான் என்று நினைக்கிறேன்.
ரயில் பயணம்
வாரா வாரம், ரயிலில் பெங்களூர் - சென்னை - பெங்களூர் என்று கடந்த நான்கு மாதங்களாக சென்று வருகிறேன். ரயிலில் நான் பார்ப்பவர்களை எளிதில் வகைப்படுத்தி விடலாம்.
* பெர்முடா (அ)அரை பேண்ட், Jan Sports பை - இவர்கள் ஆண் சா·ப்ட்வேர் என்ஜினியர்கள்.
* ஜீன்ஸ், கையில் ஒரு தடிமனான ஆங்கில நாவல், செல் போன் - பெண் சா·ப்ட்வேர் என்ஜினியர்கள் என்று கற்பூரம் ஏற்றி சத்தியம் செய்யலாம்.
* சற்றே மெலிதான சூட்கேஸ், கையில் ஒரு மினரல் வாட்டர் - ஒரு நாள் கான்பிரன்ஸுக்கு ஆபீஸ் செலவில் வந்தவர்கள்.
* போர்வை, தலையணை கொண்டு வருபவர்கள் - வாரா வாரம் பெங்களூர் போய் வருபவர்கள்.
* போர்வை கொண்டு வராமல் ஜோலார்பேட்டை தாண்டியவுடன் குளிரில் நடுங்குபவர்கள் - சின்ன வயதில் ஸ்கூல் எக்ஸ்கர்ஷனுக்கு பெங்களூர் போனவர்கள்.
* ரயில் கிளம்பியவுடன் படுக்கையை விரித்து படுத்துக்கொள்பவர்கள் - கிருஷ்ணராஜபுரத்தில் இறங்குபவர்கள்.
* அடிக்கடி பாத்ரூம் போய் வருபவர்கள் - சிகரெட் பழக்கம் உள்ளவர்கள்.
* ஹிந்தி பேசிக் கொண்டு குடும்பத்துடன் வருபவர்கள். ராத்திரி 11 மணிக்கு மேல் கட்டாயம் சப்பாத்தி சாப்பிடுபவர்கள்.
* லைட்டை அணைத்த பின்னும் தூங்காமல் பேசிக்கொண்டிருப்பவர்கள் - புதிதாக கல்யாணமானவர்கள்(அ) பண்ணிக்கொள்ள போகிறவர்கள்.
* தூங்காமல் இவற்றையெல்லாம் வேடிக்கை பார்ப்பவர்கள் - என்னைப் போல BLOG எழுதுபவர்கள்.

I understand your point. But still customizing your blog with a theme adds its own charisma. I think your blog deserves it too!
Would be happy to see your page with upgrades in design.
BTW, your site (fonts) looks distorted in FireFox(any Tamil sites for that matter). Can u help me ?

Please do write about those 'Jana Priya Vahini' of Bangalore.

Still I am not very clear on what you mean by theme - colours ? or pictures ?
I have tested in Firefox and it works fine. except the footer.
I think it is something to do with the rendering of the fonts.

Yes indeed! May be am sounding a bit immature for u. But then it definitely adds value(according to me)Even you can add watermarks of your own paintings.(That would be great!!!)
And of course if you think that your theme is going to be as plain as it is now, then just forget it!!! let it be... After all your composition and narration draws in subscribers like me!
Are you not updating tamil.net/people/desikan? That was a great collection indeed!

That was a great commentary indeed. I am reading your blog for the past few months, liked your "Margazhi Specials". Did u get a chance to listen to drive to Electronics city from Madivala?? i bet you will dedicate a new blog for this travel :). City traffic is worst when compared 4 years ago.
